The Body Shop have launched a brand new range to celebrate the start of Summer. I have been waiting for this range for what seems my entire life! We finally have the perfect tropical scent in the form of bath and body products without having to travel anywhere.
While a Piña Colada isn’t my favourite cocktail, I do absolutely adore tropical scents and sprung at the chance to order these new goodies. I managed to get 30% OFF + a FREE Strawberry Sorbet worth £10! If you want to take advantage of the same offer USE CODE: 19807.
I only got a mini of this shower gel as I brought the gift set as this saved me the most money. If you’re looking for a fresh, zesty, wake me up shower gel then this is for you! I literally felt like I was abroad when I tried this for the first time. I love strong smelling, vibrant shower gel’s so I do really love this and suggest you go into a store and smell this for yourself.
Exfoliating Cream Body Scrub £15
Again, a very dreamy island scent. I wouldn’t say this is any better than the other body shop scrubs I’ve had in the past. So this is based purely on the smell. After using the shower gel, scrub and moisturiser the scent really does intensify and it also has a really nice cooling effect. Which is great for the summer months when you get into a hot shower. With the gift set, you also get a handy exfoliating lily I love using this as it means I don’t use too much product when exfoliating.
The Body Butter is very similar to its predecessors, I’m not going to lie it is purely based on your fragrance preferences. If you are a big fan of the tropical scent and are going to get either the shower gel or scrub, I would recommend getting this also as it really does intensify the scent and make it last. Again, really cooling on my skin and with my dry skin being irritable at the moment. This has really helped hydrate and stop my skin from being itching all the time.
I always regret buying the Sorbet and the Body Butter in a Body Shop range as I feel they do the same job and why would I use two moisturisers? The Body Butter is great for people like me who need a thick, hydrating moisturiser to layer on regularly. The Sorbet I feel is for someone who just wants a quick cooling pick me up on a daily basis, and who doesn’t like heavy moisturisers. It does smell great just like the rest of the range, and a great summer product.
