Liz Earle Summer Haul

I can still remember when my Mum first introduced me to Liz Earle about 3 years ago now. I was really sceptical at first if the range would even suit my skin type, but thankfully today I can truly say thanks to Liz Earle my skin has transformed! I recently stocked up on my favourite products and some new products and wanted to show you what I got…

Cleanse & Polish – Rose and Lavender £15.50

Due to popular demand the limited edition Rose and Lavender hot cloth cleanser is back! It’s only available to buy at John Lewis for the moment and will be launching on the Liz Earle website in September. Cleanse & Polish was the first product I bought from Liz Earle all those years ago. I’d heard lots of great things and they were all true! I’ve been using this as my cleanser for well over 3 years now and would never change, since using it my skin has become clearer, less acne prone and brighter. This is a fantastic cleanser and it really is suitable for all age ranges, I’m 22 and love it and my Mum also uses it every day! I always feel that my skin looks and feels so clean after using this and it also leaves your skin feeling super soft. You also get a muslin cloth with every purchase, it’s important to keep washing them and using new one’s so that you’re not spreading any nasty germs around your clean face.

Liz Earle Superskin™ Concentrate for Night 50ml – £60

A little really does go a long way with this, I squirted quite a bit out and felt overwhelmed! The price might look scary but you literally only need one drop so it will last you a very long time. This has a very strong rose scent due to the ingredients (Organic Rosehip Oil, Argan Oil, Neroli Oil and Natural Source Vitamin E). I was very reluctant at first to put this on as it is an oil and my skin just hates oily things. This is definitely more than I would normally spend on skincare so I was hoping for spectacular results. This is the first time I’ve tried this product or anything from the Superskin range, it is aimed at more mature skin than my own so I hope I can give you the best explanation of the product. It claims to plump and smooth skin, it did definitely smooth my skin and make it feel hydrated but personally, I didn’t notice it plump anything. I don’t have any wrinkles or areas that do need plumping so this could be the most important factor of why I didn’t notice much difference with this oil. It does have great reviews though so do get yourself a sample to try and see if it works on your skin. I personally wouldn’t buy this only because my skin is too young for this at the moment, but I will try again in the future!

Liz Earle Summer HaulSuperskin™ Eye Cream 15ml – £35

This is a new product I’ve added to my routine. It has a really nice subtle floral scent and is so refreshing and cooling when I applied it around my eyes. This is a product aimed at older skin than mine as it helps slow the ageing process by helping your eyes look bright, refreshed and awake. It did get rid of the bags under my eyes, and some discolouration to help them look brighter and firmer. I like applying this in the morning personally as it gave me eyes a boost and the brightness lasted throughout the day. I was told in my local Liz Earle counter that I probably wouldn’t need to look at the Superskin range yet as it is for ageing skin. I personally don’t see the harm in starting a little earlier as it helps me find the products that do work and I want to use for when I do have to start using them.

Instant Boost Skin Tonic – £15.50

This has been my toner for the last year now, I keep going back to it as it just compliments the Cleanse & Polish so well and smells so great! I really love how all Liz Earle products smell so floral and fresh. It aims to revitalise, soothe and tone for radiant-looking skin and it does just that. A toner is so important in any skincare routine as it closes up your pores after cleansing, and helps keep all the nasty stuff out of them. Highly recommend trying this toner as it’s a really great price, a lot cheaper than the pads I used to buy and it lasts longer.

Eyebright™ – Soothing Eye Lotion £13.25

This is yet another bestseller that my Mum recommended to me, I’ve been using this for the last 5 months since getting it free with an online order. Although I’m quite lazy and never really saw the attraction to treating my eyes before, once I had tried this a few times I became hooked! Again, another refreshing product to put on your eyes in the morning. You can actually use this to remove eye makeup but I look like I’ve been in a fight afterwards, so personally I wear too much eye makeup for this to work. It does however, bring the puffiness of my eyes down a lot which is great and helps with discoloration underneath my eyes. A great product for any age group, because let’s face it who doesn’t have bags under their eyes nowadays!
