I love trying new face masks, my pamper sessions each week are the one time I get to relax, let go and finding the right treatment for my skin is vital. I’ve always been a fan of charcoal masks since discovering Origins Clear Improvements mask last year. L’Oreal have just launched their new pure clay mask range and I couldn’t wait to try out these budget-friendly masks.
After Eva Longoria showed us, her Snapchat followers how these masks work and how you can mix and match them to suit your problem area’s, I knew I had to go and buy these masks. There are three masks in the range Detox Mask (3 Pure Clays + Charcoal), Purity Mask (3 Pure Clays + Eucalyptus) & Glow Mask (3 Pure Clays + Red Algae). You can just use one mask to pamper your face, but I wanted to try what Eva suggested which is use all three! I used the Glow mask (red) on my cheeks, Detox Mask (black) on my chin, upper lip & nose and finally the Purity Mask (green) on my forehead. As the masks target different problem areas I feel having all three really gave my skin an all over treat. The masks were really nice to apply and have a pleasant scent. I left them on for about ten minutes until dry and washed off with warm water. After applying my favourite moisturiser my skin felt so smooth and clear, my makeup applied like a dream afterwards and even now three days later my skin is still glowing and smooth. I noticed a few spots I had calmed down and cleared, also my skin had much more of a natural glow when makeup free.
The masks were on offer at Boots when I bought them for £5 each, they are now back up to £7.99 but I still feel this a great price for such a great product. I’m so glad I’ve tried these as I have now found my favourite new masks! I can’t wait to use them again. You can visit the Boots website here and view the Pure Clay range.
