It’s that time of year again where I’m intending to relax more and enjoy some sun! Travelling has been a big part of my life for the last two years and once again I’m feeling grateful to be going to Lanzarote for a week! I haven’t been able to relax or have a hot holiday since last May due to my work load, releasing a book and financial commitments. So you can imagine how ready I am to explore and embrace the Lanzarote sun!
It’s important to me to keep up with my spiritual practices while I’m away on holiday to not only help me stay feeling happy, positive and aligned. When I have time away from work (although I do still work!) I’m able to completely switch off and that’s when I want to focus on going inwards and truly resting. So I thought as I’m away this week why don’t I show you my spiritual travel essentials that I take abroad with me…
A Good Book To Read
I love reading and have lots of time to read while I’m sunbathing around the pool or at the beach. I always find I come away feeling really inspired and up-levelled when I read an inspirational book on holiday so for me, it’s got to be the right book. This holiday I’ve chosen ‘Good Vibes, Good Life’ by Vex King. Not only is Vex a lovely soul who I’ve followed for a while, but he’ll also be coming on my podcast in a few months time. So it was only right after feeling drawn to it that I get his book after reading so many positive reviews online. So I will let you know in my spiritual book club video over on YouTube in the next month or so how I get on with it!
Gratitude Journal
I use my gratitude journal every day so it’s only right that it joins me on my travels! This gratitude journal is from my merchandise range available on my website store and Etsy shop. Each morning I write five points of gratitude for all the abundance and blessings I have currently in my life. I challenge myself to write new things every day to really help me to feel gratitude continuously and to not take any of these blessings for granted. I will also in the evening use my gratitude rock to give thanks for all the wonderful things that have happened throughout the day and make positive intentions for the next day.
Crystals
I also take a few crystals away with me for protection, love and support. My favourites to take are Amethyst, Rose Quartz, Black Tourmaline and Smokey Quartz. I usually keep these in my backpack so I have them on me at all times and always feel held and supported when I take them away with me. Smokey Quartz is super important for me to help me stay grounded and held as travelling can sometimes make me stressed or unsettled. Also, it’s a great opportunity to give them a great natural cleanse in the ocean.
Aura Sprays
I also bring a few aura sprays with me to again help keep my vibes feeling good and for energy protection. I’ve been to a few countries where the vibe has been quite heavy especially in cities so spraying myself in the morning and when I return in the evening is super important to cleanse your aura and vibes. My favourites to use are the ‘Positivity Energy Spray’ from my friend Natalia’s website and the Protect & Clear Aura Spray from the Chalice Wells Shop in Glastonbury.
Oracle Cards
Last but certainly not least is my oracle cards! I pull cards each day for focus and inspiration so of course, my favourite decks have to come with me too. Not only do I use my own ‘Spiritual Queen Oracle Cards’ which are available from my website shop and Etsy store, but I also love using ‘Angel Answers’ by Doreen Virtue and ‘Keepers Of The Light’ by Kyle Gray too. These are fun to do with friends, family or your partner so for me I never have to hide away and do my spiritual practices on holiday which I’m super grateful for.
So I hope this blog post has given you an insight into my spiritual travel essentials and hopefully some new products to try! I can’t wait to show you what we get up to in Lanzarote so keep an eye out here next week for my blog, my vlogs over on YouTube and my Instagram which I update daily. Don’t forget you can also buy my book Spiritual Queen worldwide now! I hope you have a great week whatever you’re up to and I’m sending you all lots of love xx
