I have been asked along to the Ladies Day at Cheltenham Races (March 11th) for #ColourMeMarch. I couldn’t wait until then to show you my bargain outfit so here it is…
Deciding on a dress was the hardest part of my outfit choice! I love black and find it really hard to find a nice suiting colour to my pale skin. #Colourmemarch is all about vibrant, bright colours. Although I love big bold colours, I couldn’t find any dresses I loved. I have had my eyes on a Rochelle Humes dress from Very for a while and decided this would be the best fit. With the violet/blue tint I felt this was a really subtle but strong spring colour. I love the beaded collar as well. It completes the dress and saves me getting a necklace! Next was finding the best deal at RRP £75 it certainly isn’t a cheap dress. I found a £50 Very voucher for £25 on Groupon here meaning I only paid £50! The dress is such lovely material and feels perfect I am so glad I have found a nice formal dress for both the races and future events.
My Fascinator was next, I have never owned one in my life and had no idea where to start! I tried a few on in a shop to get a feel of what did and didn’t suit me. Also what I could wear with both my hair up and down. I settled on this Debenhams Fascinator it was the cheapest at £25 and luckily they had a 15% OFF code making it only £21. On Collection I also got a £5 off no minimum spend Coupon to spend in store so got a nice FREE Baylis & Harding gift set BONUS!
My heels, I already had these stunning heels and can’t believe I got these from Primark for £14 🙂 I brought them back before Christmas you may still be able to get them.
On the day I think I will either brighten up my Coral Lipstick or go for my favourite Red to add some vibrance!
So that’s me all set for the races! Let me know if you are going and don’t forget to enter the Colour Me March Competition with prizes up to £2,000!!
