OGX RESTORING + BONDING ‘PLEX REVIEW

Once again the lovely ladies at OGX kindly sent me some bloggers mail through including their exciting new Restoring + Bonding ‘Plex range. After years of having my hair coloured and it slowly getting more heat damaged this new range certainly ticked a lot of boxes for me.

There are three products in the new range a shampoo, conditioner and bonding cream which is a leave-in styling treatment. All of the products are £7.99 rrp which make these salon technology treatments super affordable. We all know that constant lightening, colouring, curling and straightening can be damaging to out hair but we do it anyway. After lightening my hair over the last year I’ve noticed how dry and damaged my hair really has become after this gradual process. Looking back at photos of my hair last year it makes me sad as I loved how silky smooth and sleek it looked, now it can sometimes just look like a frizzy mess! While I’ve made the decision to go back to a darker blonde to try and restore my hair’s previous health I’m really hoping this new range from OGX can also help transform my hair back to its previous health.

Blended with Cystine and Vegetable Proteins, this three-step system can help boost bonds, seal split ends, and control frizz. Strands are first gently cleansed, then deeply conditioned and finally bonded via the restoring leave-in cream to restore hair’s softness and shine. The shampoo has a shine to it which I always think helps – I don’t know why somehow I think it adds more shine to my hair! The fragrance throughout the range smells very peachy and luxurious which is always a winner in my books.

I’ve been using this range for a couple of weeks now and have noticed BIG changes in my hair’s health. Even from the first wash, my hair was noticeably smoother, sleeker and healthier. Although I am well overdue a visit to my hairdressers, my colour seemed brighter and my hair is noticeably less frizzy even after styling which is a miracle! I’m really impressed with the results even a few weeks into changing my hair care routine to the OGX Restoring + Bonding ‘Plex range so I’m going to keep using it and let you know how I get on. It will be great to see how the range works after my haircut this week and see if my hair’s health continues to restore to its former glory!
