The Big Way To Save In 2015!

Big Way To Save (1)

My first Blog Post of 2015!! For this one I wanted to focus more on money saving and how you can really transform your budget and lifestyle this year. Whether you’re a newbie or part of my Coupon furniture we all can pick up some fab tips and make 2015 more savvy than 2014!

1. Extreme Couponing

So, I have a full list of Current Coupons on my website homepage Excoupuk.com this is great for any starter and a brilliant aid to keep an eye on for new coupons throughout the month.

Store magazines, keep an eye out some great one’s in this month’s Tesco Magazine. I haven’t got my hands on a ASDA one as of yet, but haven’t heard of any in January’s edition.

Youtube Vlogs – I try my hardest to keep Vlogging but keeping on top of everything is proving hard! I have some great Vlogs which explain anything from how to coupon to Cash back apps. This is also a good watch to spur you on in money saving goals.

Being a new year, start writing to manufactures again! Find an email address or a contact form on the brand’s website. Give a honest product review and why you like the brand so much (is it cost effective?, less harsh than other brands?). At the end you can include your address but don’t make a big thing of ASKING for coupons leave a suggestible ending..(I would love to stock up on more of your products are there any current coupons/offers available?).

2. Cashback Apps

If you don’t know what I’m talking about you NEED to. Cash back apps are a fantastic tool in your weekly shops. Coupons certainly don’t cover everything so having an extra money saving tool on your smartphone is essential. You will soon notice those pennies and pounds building up!  The main Cashback Apps are; Checkoutsmart, Shopitize, Topcashback, Quidco & mysupermarket (also a handy price comparison tool).

3. Money Saving Challenge

It may be all good and well saving all this money but what do you do with it once it’s sat in the bank? Are you tempted to buy that new handbag you don’t need or Electronics you just fancy for the sake of it. Well our Money Saving Challenge will aid you in these temptations. For this I suggest a separate bank account or online savings account you can easily access. So I challenge you all to see if you can stick to your chart and let me know how you get on!

4. Get Freebie Hunting!

I can never stress enough how important freebies are, many believe that it’s always travel size samples. Yes, most of them are but not only are they brilliant for travelling. They are great gifts come Christmas time/Birthdays. Once, in a while you will get a fantastic full size freebie by either entering a competition or from a promotion a certain brand will run. I have created a NEW Facebook Page dedicated to freebies as they sometimes get lost amongst all of the deals and coupons. So make sure to give it a like to keep up to date! Also don’t be afraid to ask companies for freebies…they can only say no!

5. Sale Shopping

Sales have become and all year round sensation now, no longer do we have Boxing day sales and Summer Sales. There always seems to be a sale going on! My best advice is wait for a sale, I can’t tell you how many times I have brought something then a week later it’s half price or a code is released. So, always shop around before buying and utilise the online sales! For all the latest Sales and Deals make sure you have liked my Facebook page to keep updated!

Over the next few weeks I will be unveiling a few top secrets and writing some more Blog posts on various top tips for saving this year.  I would love to know you’re top tips or what you wan’t to see on my next post. So please leave a comment below 🙂
