We all know Designer Nails & the latest trends all come at a price so I wanted to put Ciate to the test and find a cheaper alternative!
I started by purchasing the FREE Ciate Mini set in August Marie Claire (£2.50) Worth £20 for both unfortunately, they only had the lilac colour left in my area I really wanted the Blue! Next I powered up Ebay and found the cheapest set of Dried Floral pots the cheapest I found was £2.14 shipping from Hong Kong, They took less than 2 weeks to arrive which I think is fab for Hong Kong Shipping. I’ve waited months on other items before.
They arrived in a padded Jiffy Bag and all packaging was secure and undamaged, Now it was time to apply!
This was the fun part…. I applied the lilac Ciate nail polish and the Caviar Pearls to my ring finger. Once dried I added a tiny bit of nail glue to my nail and started to apply the dried flowers (Warning use tweezers!!) It saves so much time and helps with the flowers being so delicate and fiddly. They didn’t take long to dry and look fabulous straight away I can’t believe its only cost £4.64 and they can be used countless times as you get quite a few flowers in each pot. I applied Top Coat which I feel was a mistake as it made the flowers very shiny and glossy, I think next time when they are flatter I may try Gel Top Coat.
All in All Highly recommend and here is the link to the 12x Dried Floral Pots for £2.14: http://bit.ly/WHiMzc
