So…? Couture Fragrance Review*

My first memories of the So…? Range were back when I was 16 in school, all my friends had the latest scents and we used to collect them to see who had the most! Now nearly 6 years on I’m spraying the brand I adored so much once again and falling in love.

Depending on your age you may or may not have heard of this brand. They launched back in the 90s but I only really heard of them when I hit senior school when it became cool to use half a can and cause asthma attacks. In my opinion So…? have always been a great budget range and perfect for chucking in your handbag to freshen up in the working day. My problem arises when I spray my lovely perfume’s on in the morning and by mid-day I need a top-up while carrying a small portable perfume holder is great, it becomes expensive and a unnecessary use of your favourite (sometimes expensive) perfume.

So when So…? introduced me to their new Couture range I couldn’t resist trying it all for you. The main concept behind having matching perfumes & body fragrances is simply to keep us women on the go smelling fantastic at all times of the day! Spray your 50ml Eau de toilette in the morning and pop your spray can in your bag for a quick top up as and when it’s needed. This to me makes perfect sense and I’m surprised more companies haven’t thought of this genius idea before.

After returning from Paris I felt it only fair to expand my holiday with the So…? Paris range I love the musky smell it holds mixed with a subtle floral tone. I found after a couple of hours the perfume dulled down and I couldn’t smell it as strongly so sprayed myself with the body spray and immediately it heightened the perfume and made me feel like I had just sprayed the perfume. This is exactly what I want from a perfume combo and certainly eases my frustration with spraying another fragrance on which I have done in the past. The best bit has to be the price at £9.99 for a 50ml bottle you really can’t go wrong, I’ve been using it the past few days and it has barely gone down so I have great confidence it will last me a while also. The body spray’s are £1.99 which again is a great price for such a lovely fragrance also, I can’t wait to pop down to my local Boots and try the whole range! So…? has had a massive re-brand since I last used it and I feel it has a much more adult driven approach now, rather than aimed at teenagers like it used to be.
