Approved Food Does Beauty*

We all know and love Approved Food for they’re bargain food and great offers, so when they asked me to focus on their Health & Beauty section I was a bit confused to say the least. I have always associated Approved Food with only selling food and household products who knew they had a hidden beauty parlour full of gems!

When viewing the products online, I love the simplistic easy navigation around each section. This makes it ten times easier to find exactly what you are looking for. There is such a huge variety of products available in the Health & Beauty section, from tablets, sanitary products, nail products and even make-up! Although they don’t have tons of high street make-up brands, they do certainly cater for all ages and skin types. They even had my favourite red tinted Vaseline so I made sure to snap one up as they are Limited Edition. I’m really happy with what I got, although I probably wouldn’t do a full beauty shop on Approved Food I would always combine my savings when doing a food shop and seeing what could save me money. Many people I’m sure will say ‘They have these in Poundland, they have these in Home Bargains’, well fantastic if they do! Sadly, for me my nearest Poundland is 13 miles away and Home Bargains over 30 miles so I certainly won’t be rushing there to save a few pence 🙂 . Adding these to my basket would not only save me money on petrol, but also simply for convenience it saves me a lot of hassle having it delivered straight to my door. So let’s see what I saved…

I am really impressed with what I managed to save simply by choosing Approved Food over other high-street retailers. Like I said, they don’t have everything but if there is something you like on the website you can guarantee it will be cheaper.
