Selfridges Summer Beauty Box Review

Summer Beauty Box ReviewNow this is a rarity for me ordering from such a top notch brand like Selfridges, but how could I not when I saw what bargains I could grab in they’re latest summer beauty box.

Most of us hear the word Selfridges and think EXPENSIVE £££! I for one totally agree with this, full of luxury designer brands I would be very lucky to be able to afford the amazing products they sell. So this one may shock you, they have launched a Summer Beauty Box full of designer brands all for £40! Now if I hadn’t of seen the products I wouldn’t of purchased this as, the risk would of been too high for maybe so little. I’m used to spending £10 a month on a beauty box so £40 was certainly a treat for me. So let’s look in the designer box and see how much you can save!

Tangle Teezer Blue £7.50

I have wanted one of these for so long and always brought cheaper versions, mine have all broken so I’m glad I can finally experience the proper brand! I love the way it feels on your hair and certainly removes knots a lot quicker than the cheaper versions I was using before.

Nails Inc Gel Effect (Chiltern Street) £15

I love love love Nails Inc, so couldn’t be more happier to add to my collection for a fraction of the price!

Nars Lip Gloss (Orgasm) £18.50

I am obsessed with Nars at the moment so more than happy to try one of they’re famous lip glosses.

Eyeko Fat Liquid Eyeliner Black £12

I really like Eyeko’s eyeliner’s from trying them free in a magazine, the nib looks really firm like a felt tip pen so hopefully this will help me when applying it to my upper eyelid (because I can never get it equal).

Illamasqua Lipstick (Luster) £19.50

A really bright pink I don’t think I’ll be using this on it’s own maybe mixed in with a lip gloss to dull down the colour!

Clarins Eau des Jardins Body Cream 100ml £29

This has an incredible floral tone, I’m probably going to use it as a hand cream but still a lovely product.

Caudalie Grape Water 75ml £6

I’m not quite sure what this does if i’m honest, I presume you spray it on your skin…

’99 problems’ Beach Bag £18

From the pictures I thought this would of been smaller, but it’s massive. Great for taking to the beach and putting all your bits and bobs in.

Urban Decay Make-up Setting Spray (Oil Control) £9

This spray sounds like heaven to me as there is nothing I hate more than having an oily look in the afternoon!

£10 OFF The Paint Shop by Nails Inc Voucher

To be used in-store, great if you live in London and want a manicure.

James Read Gradual Face Tan 25ml £21.50

I have had so many of these James Read products in beauty boxes recently, I still haven’t managed to try them all. I get really nervous about putting fake tan on my face so I think this one will be given to a friend.

Radial Dragon’s Blood Sculpting Gel 15ml £5

The name in itself sounds scary but it is meant to define facial contours and add volume to sagging skin.

Pack of Ribband’s £6

I have had these a few times now in beauty boxes and really prefer them to hairband’s as they cause a lot less damage to your hair.

Starskin Bio-cellulose Second Skin Face Mask £8.50

Designed to give you celebrity skin I am certainly excited to try this face mask, enriched with coconut juice!

Starskin Foaming Peeling Perfection Puff £6.99

This one is enriched with carrot extract this is designed for removal of dead skin and helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles, a bit expensive for one use in my opinion!

RRP Total £182.49

Paid £40

With a whopping 78.1% saving I am so impressed with the variety of designer products and how little it actually cost me! I think it definitely helps seeing the products first. I only really suggest buying these beauty boxes unless you really are going to use most of the products and enjoy it. I think in the future I would save up for this as long as I liked the look of the contents.

Let me know what you think of this fab Selfridges beauty box and if you think it’s good value for money in the comments below!
