What a full-on year it’s been and we’re only in July! None of us knew how deep 2020 would get and I know from my client sessions and from speaking with friends, how this year has been taking a toll on our mental health and how the heck we navigate this energy and life in an ever-changing world. So this week I felt called to share my top tips and advice on how to find grace in an ever-changing 2020.
The Tiger King stage of lockdown feels like lifetimes ago now, and I’m using that as a point of reference because I think all of us would like to go back! As we started to emerge out of lockdown, we now as a collective find ourselves in a weird middle ground where things are starting to go back to normal but do we even know what normal is anymore? Not only have we had COVID, we’ve also had the unraveling of our society begin and everything we’ve known. We had NASA release a 13th zodiac sign, which hasn’t actually changed anything but the internet went wild with this a few weeks ago and we’ve had a tough time energy-wise with eclipse season, retrogrades, and collective energy. Right now it’s tough to be a lightworker because we’re feeling it all. Social media isn’t even a great place to be right now as hate is on the rise and the truth is coming to the light around Hollywood, human trafficking, sexual abuse, and many other topics that we’ll never see the world in the same way again. We’ve had the incredibly important Black Lives Matter movement take place where we’ve all had to educate ourselves and look at how society has harmed a minority for so long. We’ve had to witness a lot as humans and that our world hasn’t been all love and light for a very long time.
This is a hard pill to swallow and one many spiritual folk will be struggling to get their head around right now. How can we be positive when we are surrounded by all this truth coming to the surface? Well, as uncomfortable as it may seem we can’t simply avoid it or look away to remain ‘love and light’. Truly being a Spiritual Queen or whatever you resonate with is standing up for our community and speaking out, facing these challenges head-on, and coming together to help find long term solutions. In my 1-to-1 sessions, my clients have been asking when this energy will shift so they can just get on with life, I don’t blame them for asking it has been a whirlwind of a year and we still have just over 4 months left! In order to have 20:20 vision though we have to see the truth and this is exactly what the astrologers predicted and we’re just seeing the tip of the iceberg right now.
Don’t get me wrong you always have control over your own vibration and actions so whatever is happening collectively may not always affect you in the way it does with others, but it’s really important that you’re kind to yourself right now and understand we are going through a huge transition with our inner work and in the outer world too. So as well as providing information on why you may feel in a constant weird vibe right now no matter what you do, I think it’s important to give you some practical tools and tips to help shift the collective energy when it feels too much and how you can navigate this year with grace.
Grounding
Whilst in any ever-changing situation in your life it’s important to keep yourself grounded and connected to Mother Earth. Grounding and connecting with the earth can help us to stay present and grounds us into the now. So over this time make sure you’re going outside whether it’s to your favorite nature spot, to the beach, or wherever. Get your feet on the earth and connect even for just a few moments. Breathe into this space and imagine roots coming out of the bottom of our feet and going all the way down to the core of the earth and wrapping around the crystal in the centre of the earth. Do this often and connect yourself Queen.

Informing Yourself
Whilst a lot of people have been having mainstream media and social media detoxes which I do feel is needed during all of this to keep yourself present. It’s still important to keep yourself informed and educate yourself if you don’t understand a topic that’s being brought to the table. Awareness is key and means you’re still taking action, share the information, donate or whatever it is you choose to do but limit your time watching the news for example if it’s bringing you down. I unfollowed all news channels during lockdown as how they were portraying many things was so wrong and once again taking the focus off all the positive momentum that was building. So tune in to what feels right for you and limit the time you’re exposed to media channels etc but stay aware.
Clearing Collective Energy
Right now as lightworker we’re feeling ALL the feels of the collective and this is why overall the last few months have felt heavy and challenging on top of our own inner work. One tip I have is to connect to your angels daily and surround yourself with their divine white protective light – this can be done through intention. Then once you see a bright white light surrounding you entirely, call upon your angels or the Universe to clear and transmute any collective energy that’s not your own and see it go up to the Universe above you to be cleared away. This helps massively with collective energy, you could also use aura spray to clear it away or sage etc. Make this a regular part of your daily routine just like you’d cleanse and moisturise your face on a daily basis you need to cleanse and protect your vibes and energy too!
Self-Love
More than anything right now Queen self-love is going to go a long way. Make sure each week you are filling your own cup and taking time for yourself. Sometimes in amongst chaos and stress, we can forget these simple steps like grounding and self-love, so make this a priority each week as this will really help with your levels of energy and putting you in the best place possible to feel stable and positive each week.
Inner Child Work
Finally, I know I keep mentioning it but here I am week in week out helping lovely clients heal their trauma with inner child work right now and am currently training to be an inner child work practitioner which has been very eye-opening to how much we do pick up as children and how we can heal this. So if you’re having a lot of inner work or trauma coming up to the surface right now you’re not alone. We’re all in this together and I would really encourage you to have a look at inner child work and connect to yours again. This can be done through photos or meditation. You can also connect with your inner child in the physical by creating fun activities to try each week and by finding out what fun means to you currently. So make a list of 25-30 things that you find fun, really challenge yourself here, and then commit to doing one each week.
