HOW TO MOTIVATE YOURSELF THIS MARCH - Emma Mumford

With 2022 being another interesting year collectively already, the common theme I’m hearing at the moment in my Manifestation Membership and from you my followers is that a lot of you feel unmotivated and have fallen of the bandwagon with your practices and manifesting. With this in mind, I wanted to create a post this week to help spark some motivation within you this March…

February for me was really challenging due to having COVID, Luna being ill and the passing of my Nan. Yet with all of things considered, it was actually a really productive month as for me a coping mechanism is distracting myself with work. As a Virgo nothing pleases me more than ticking off that to-do list whilst also honoring my feelings and resting. Each of us will be different with our go to’s and our relief but if you’ve been feeling a lack of motivation, especially around your wellbeing and manifestation below are my top tips for you this month to change that around!

Spring Energy

With Spring just around the corner now, you will feel a shift in energy soon – the energy of the Spring Equinox (20th March) will bring a much-needed boost of positive energy as we move in lighter evenings. Use this shift in energy to invite new energy into your home and routine. If your house has been overwhelming you and laundry and clutter has piled up recently set a task each day to clear one small area or even schedule out some time to tackle it all at once if that would feel better. When our home feels clear and aligned so will our mind. The space around us has a big impact on our motivation and mood in general so start off with your surroundings.

Start Off Small

When you’re feeling overwhelmed the worst thing you can do is do too much and end up no further ahead than you were before. So start off small and do a spiritual practice that you feel called to – for me my go to’s to shift myself are yoga, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), meditation and journaling. For me it’s really important to move my body and shift the stagnant energy and release it. Start off each day by adding something in that you love and that will be a great act of self-care too and you’ll soon see your whole vibe and energy shift.

Create The Space 

In order to feel productive with projects or tasks we need to have the energertic and mental space. So create the space in your scheudle to slowly introduce your favourite spiriutal practices and any life admin that needs taking care of. There is a lot going on in the world right now which after the last two years on top can absolutely cause fear, feelings of anxiety and lack of motivation. So do one thing each day that does spark postivity, self-care and motivation. Think about what you’d like to call in this month whether that be feelings or physical things and write them down. Something as small as this can really start to shift you and your energy quickly as these begin to manifest. Don’t focus on having to do it all, focus on doing one thing a day that sparks joy, positivity and goodness. Motivation will come naturally when you’re looking after yourself, your energy and wellbeing. So ask yourself today what can you do to create the space for more self-care?
