HOW TO STAY ON TOP OF YOUR IDEAS

I often get asked ‘How do you have so many ideas and inspiration on what to launch and do with your business constantly?’ – the key to having a successful online business is to stay on top of your game and continuously challenge yourself.

Get Clear On Your Vision

The first step is to get clear on your vision, what is it you want to achieve from your business/brand? Making a vision board or a goals list is a great idea, this will allow you to get clear and concise about what you’re aiming for – I also like to call mine a strategy plan so it’s really a creative, unofficial five-year business plan as it’s known in more professional terms. Once you have an idea of what you’re aiming for not only is this great Law of Attraction it helps you to document all of your amazing ideas in one place instead of feeling overwhelmed and have all of these ideas swirling around in your head.

Start Manifesting / Taking Action

Once you’re clear on what the next steps are it’s time to leave it up to the Universe and start taking action yourself. Break your goals down into monthly achievable goals – so if you want to write a book realistically break it down, how many months would it take you? If you want to focus more on your social media or interaction then schedule some time in that month to focus on these. I categorise my ideas into month’s as I have an incredible ability to do too much at once. I’m learning to slow down and that actually spacing launches, events, new tools etc out allows me to be calm, the launch to be perfect and it’s also not overloading everyone.

Keep Yourself In The Loop

Not only is it really important to know what you’re working on month to month it’s also important to keep yourself in the loop online, are you looking at trends online what is working well for other businesses? For me keeping up with trends, new ways to promote and new platforms is essential for staying relevant and for your content to keep feeling fresh. It doesn’t have to become a chore but it’s important that you stay on top of trends and make use of any that will really help launch your business.

Work With Others In Your Field

Working with others in your field doesn’t have to be a competition. When you work with other influencers or businesses in your field you strengthen your reach and it’s nice to support others. Not only can you make friends, you can create long lasting relationships that support one another and you can grow together. Also, by creating content for each other’s platforms you can reach a larger audience and hopefully grow yours in the process. The more people who are finding out about your message the better!

The most important message I want to share here is there is enough time in your life to achieve all of this. We don’t have to do it all before settling down, we can do it after and until our retirement! The Universe has a plan and it won’t be rushed so let yourself enjoy this journey and remember if you don’t get something done it’s okay there is always tomorrow.
