Now it’s officially Spring, we’re allowed to talk about Summer and start revamping our wardrobes. I’ve been so excited to get all my Spring outfits out, sadly the weather hasn’t been on our side as of late! Either way when Superdrug announced they were releasing their own body spray range I certainly got excited as I live for body sprays in the Summer. The range is called Layering Lab Body Sprays and is already available in your local Superdrug stores and online.

The range features six fragrances which are sure to get you in the Spring mood, with Fresh, Oriental, Cocoon, Floral, Paradise and Gourmand these budget-friendly bottles are handbag friendly and the perfect companion to keep you smelling great during the warmer months. They retail for £2.99 which is even more affordable than my current body spray favourites Body Fantasies. When these launched in Superdrug last year they were very hard to get a hold of as they kept selling out due to popular demand. I have been using the Body Fantasies range for the last year as a boost throughout the day. When it’s warm I find it really hard to wear perfume and prefer something I can pop in my handbag and top up throughout the day so I can continue to smell great! These sprays can be used individually or you can combine them to create a truly bespoke scent. My favourite two sprays out of the Superdrug Layering Lab Body Spray range are Gourmand & Fresh. Gourmand is a mix of vanilla, cassis & berries – A splash of elegance highlighted by a fizzy accord of cassis and red berries melted with sweet roses revealed by an edible base of vanilla beans layered with sugary notes and sensual musk. While Fresh is a mix of citrus, apple & peony – The scent opens on a sparkling fruity trail where citrus and grapefruit melt with juicy apple and sweet pear. The aquatic floral heart of peony then leads to musk’s softness. As fresh and pure as the morning dew.

Wow Superdrug really do make these sound luxurious and exclusive! I’ve been swapping between Gourmand & Fresh for the last few days now and absolutely love the fragrances, I’ve been getting some great compliments and I feel the design of the bottle is bang on trend also. It has an adult feel over the typical teenager aimed body spray’s and at only £2.99 you really can’t go wrong. Also, for once I can say I actually like all of the fragrances in the range. They’re not too sweet or sickly, they certainly smell like an expensive fragrance and what really makes me love them, even more is the fact you can mix & match and they all compliment one another.

You can visit the Superdrug website here and view the entire range, they are currently reduced to £1.99 from £2.99 so an even better reason to explore the range! A big thank you to Superdrug for kindly surprising me with this gorgeous delivery of sprays, I can’t wait for the warmer weather to come along so I can enjoy wearing these throughout the day. I hope you all have a fantastic week and as always please leave your thoughts in the comments section below.

I live in Spain and we don’t have Superdrug here but I’ll be in the UK later this year. Do you know if these are a permanent stock item or were they limited edition
