Healing is something I cover in my work from time to time but mainly in my coaching sessions with clients. Over the coming months, I want to share more on this as it’s something I’m really passionate about and will be cultivating more into my work gradually. Healing can come in many forms whether it’s looking at limiting beliefs and fears or even trauma. So this week I want to share with you the 3 elements to healing I work with and how you can start to work with these yourself.
Spiritual
The spiritual side of healing (energetic/spirit) is normally the first element of healing people tend to work with. Whether it’s through meditation, chakra work, sound healing, past life therapy or energy clearing for example there are many ways you can work with the spiritual body to heal and release limiting beliefs, fears and trauma. This alone is not enough though and this is something I very quickly discovered along my healing journey. You can sit on your meditation mat all day, but if you’re not incorporating the next two steps also this is the number one reason why people regress back to old patterns and feel stuck in their patterns and beliefs. There are many ways to start to identify the inner work I call this something different in my new book that I’m currently writing which I can’t wait to share with you all hopefully next year! I cover in my Manifestation Membership practical ways with tools and advice on how to identify the inner work as well as in my 1-to-1 coaching sessions. There isn’t really a one shoe fits all method to identify the key emotions and wounds that’s why I provide many ways to explore this in the content I mentioned above where I can help guide you and help you uncover it through the right modality for you. But I would start off by journaling – when you feel triggered by something or someone journal down how it makes you feel. Also, tune into your body where in your chakra points is the wound/trigger/pain? This is a great starting point and will allow you to then dive deeper into where you need to do the inner work and what the core emotion/wound is that needs to be worked on.
Cognitive
Next up the cognitive work (mind) is usually the next step people take in their healing journey. Once they’ve explored the spiritual side it’s also important to witness that we’re human and our minds are also conditioned by our experiences and need tlc also. This is where practices like NLP, journaling, EFT (Tapping), affirmations and therapy can be a useful and transformative step. I’ve done lots of cognitive work over the years with various tools and modalities – doing these have helped me greatly in witnessing and releasing my limiting beliefs, fears and trauma. Only you will know the right step for you and this is something I’m so passionate about in my coaching work I do with clients because we need to incorporate all these aspects to really embody healing and be able to release, heal and move forwards in life.
“As we know the spiritual work is (mind, body & spirit) so we have to look at all three when doing the inner work. By doing this work you unlock the ability to manifest from an aligned and peaceful place where you can sustainably manifest your desires and keep them.”
Practical
Finally, the one step that is often missed is the practical side of healing (physical/body). I’d done the two above elements for years and still struggled to move past limiting beliefs, fear and trauma until I discovered how our bodies store trapped emotions and we also have to do the healing work to our physical body. Whether that’s clearing trapped emotions or actually looking after our body through eating well, addressing any illnesses or concerns. All 3 elements are connected and very often you find a physical illness is the result of the body needing to be healed also. I worked with a good friend of mine Nilam Patel @nilampatel_uk who is an emotion code practitioner to release trapped emotions from my body. After working with Nilam I was a totally different person and feel like this was the missing piece to the puzzle I’d not explored before. So get intuitive with your body – what does it need right now? Are your storing trapped emotions within your body that are stopping you from embodying the version of yourself you want to be and move forwards in life?
As we know the spiritual work is (mind, body & spirit) so we have to look at all three when doing the inner work. As I’ve said there will be lots more content coming on this in the future and I go into all three steps/stages/elements in great depth in my new book which I sadly can’t give too much away about currently. But by doing this work you unlock the ability to manifest from an aligned and peaceful place where you can sustainably manifest your desires and keep them. So doing the inner work is so important along your Law of Attraction journey and something once again that needs to be explored more and spoken about in the manifesting sphere.
