Procrastination is something I’m seeing more and more often with my clients recently and something I think we can all be guilty of sometimes! Whether it’s work-related, or with your manifestations or goals, or even the simplest of tasks I wanted to cover with you this week 5 reasons why you’re procrastinating with your goals!
How Does It Feel To You?
Most importantly let’s start off by thinking about the very thing you’ve been putting off. How does it feel to you currently? Is the task or goal at hand something that feels in alignment with you? What I see sometimes in clients is that actually, their passion for this goal or task may change over time, and really the reason why it’s not flowing and not feeling good at that moment is that it’s either not the right time to take action or it no longer aligns with them and that’s why it’s not taking off. So be honest with yourself here Queen, do you still want to achieve that goal or task?
What’s The Worst-Case Scenario?
Next, let’s look at the inner work here. What’s stopping you from achieving this goal, manifestation, or task? What’s the worst thing that could happen if you took action? When you can address your worst-case scenario you can eliminate the fear within you that potentially stops you from taking the very inspired action you need to help the Law of Attraction bring your desires to you. Don’t be afraid to face the fear and dig deep into what outcomes you’re future tripping with as this can be a very common reason why people don’t take action and complete things.
Are You Having Enough Fun?
Of course one of the most important parts of this is are you having enough fun? Sometimes the Inner Child can be crying out for fun and excitement in your adult life and that’s why we have to check in and see how much fun we’re having as an adult. If you’re not injecting fun and excitement into your weekly routine then look at this and ask yourself – what does my Inner Child want me to do for fun this week? Letting our Inner Child out and playing every now and again is what creates balance and also what ignites that passion and motivation to work on our goals, manifestations, and tasks. It could look like taking some time off work and having fun too. Think about it 2020 has been a weird one and one where I’ve worked more than usual, so if you’ve been the same maybe it’s time to hit the reset button and give yourself some TLC and time to ignite fun and excitement into your life.

Are You Putting Pressure On Yourself?
Another point to witness is are you putting too much pressure on yourself to achieve this? Look at the deadlines for this task or goal, when do you realistically need to achieve it by? Pressure can be a killer of passion and motivation so make sure it’s healthy accountability and not forceful energy because as we know forcing your goals and manifestations is only going to keep them further away. Relax into the knowing that all is well and you’re right on track, how does it feel to relieve yourself of that pressure? Look at your motivations behind the pressure too what are you trying to achieve with this pressure, is it the desire or is your ego fuelling this pressure from an unaligned place?
What Is It You’re Resisting?
Finally, today look at what you’re resisting, look beyond the task, goal, or manifestation at hand. Dig deeper into the fear or limiting belief that is coming up and stopping you from being able to take action and move forwards. No one is ever truly ready to step forwards and take action but it takes courage and it takes motivation. So if you’re feeling yourself consistently procrastinating and spiralling into comparison then look below the surface for what is causing this limiting belief, fear, or block. Is it the task or manifestation you’re resisting or is it something deeper? Ask yourself that question today and maybe even journal on it too and see what comes up. Most of the time when clients are procrastinating it goes much deeper and can stem back to an issue, feeling, or emotion that they’ve been resisting. So dig deep and see what emotions and feelings come up for you with this.
