Carrie Elspeth Review*

After finding Carrie Elspeth on Instagram a few weeks ago I was really excited to be asked to review some of their brand new products for the A/W14 collection!

While awaiting for these gorgeous goodies to arrive I went to St.Ives on holiday in which most bespoke jewelers and home stores stocked they’re beautiful pieces. Personally, I had never heard of Carrie Elspeth so it was a great opportunity to see their products in the flesh and try them on.

In 1999, Carrie began creating beautifully handmade jewellery in South Wales. Now a leading supplier to independent gift shops across the UK and beyond, Carrie Elspeth operates from a 7,500 sq ft studio warehouse on the outskirts of Cowbridge (a stone’s throw from Carrie’s first studio). There are 12 full-time members of the team, and over 20 self-employed home workers manufacturing the jewellery to the highest standards.

The set I will be reviewing is called the Rainbow Celebrations Collection.

When I buy Jewellery I tend to be buy pieces which will last and can be worn daily for example my Tiffany’s jewellery I have had now for a few years and wear them most days, as well as my Thomas Sabo ring. These pieces are more for a special occasion in my eyes. I love the bright colours and simplicity of the necklace, it doesn’t make it too distracting if you were to wear a statement dress or top. My favourite out of all 3 pieces are the bracelet mainly because that’s what I would wear the most, also it is light weight and comfortable to wear. I love the colours although it is quite a bright choice for A/W14 they will also be great for all year round. The Earrings are really delicate and are a rich purple colour I can’t wait to wear these, the beads do look like they could scratch easily but I don’ t think this would be really visible, also if you look after them in the boxes I can’t imagine you would get too many.

To Purchase from Carrie Elspeth pop to your nearest store or you can purchase from their endorsed online store which actually has a sale on these items! http://www.temptationgifts.com/gifts-by-brand/carrie-elspeth/2014-autumn-collection.html

To add to the excitement you could WIN this 3 piece Rainbow Celebrations Collection in our Exclusive competition which will be launching on 22nd September 2014.
