Nakd Review*

So today I have been asked to review Nakd Wholefoods, I originally contacted them explaining how we all know about the Nakd bars as we have had so many freebies, but what about the other products? They soon sent me a goodie box to prove me wrong that there is so much more to the Nakd brand!

P1010507Being Gluten Free this is an instant winner for me, whenever I want a treat I can always turn to Nakd to provide me with a yummy alternative. Personally, I have only ever tried the bars from the freebie promotions. The Nakd Bars are they’re most simplest and most beloved bars. Just raw fruits and nuts smooshed together. Containing 100% natural ingredients with no added sugars or syrups,  these bars are also wheat, dairy and gluten free, and bursting with yummy goodness. With a soft, chewy texture they fill you up till your next meal and most count towards 1 of your 5 a day too. Ideal for lunch boxes, grabbing on the go and refuelling between meals.

My favourite has to be Banana crunch, I love my fruit and must say prefer these to other fruit bars any day! It was great to try all the flavours in the range I even now have new favourites, Cocoa Mint and Cocoa Orange. I’m sadly not very adventurous with the other bars as Pecan Pie, Gingerbread and Rhubarb & Custard didn’t tickle my fancy. Mitch tried these and I think he finds the texture the hardest part to like! I don’t think I have converted Mitch on the bars, but I personally love them there are so many flavours to choose from it’s a great alternative for any Gluten-Free fan or anyone who just simply likes the brand. At 75p a bar you can’t really go wrong!

Next we tried the Infused raisins, my friends have raved about these for ages, but I have never seen these in my local supermarkets! Oh my godness! These are beautiful, the crazy cola are my favourite they are so full of flavour and are simply raisins no crap included. The tangy lime are surprisingly refreshing and I thought it would be too tangy but it’s surprisingly nice!  The Cherry one’s I didn’t like only because I’m not a fan of Cherries and thought it was quite a strong taste. I will definitely be buying the Crazy Cola over and over again!

Delicious, fruity raisins with a burst of flavour, from zingy lime to fizzy cola and sweet juicy cherry. These are a great alternative to sweets and because they’re made with all natural flavours and ingredients, make the perfect healthy snack. Ideal for lunch boxes, satisfying a sweet tooth, and even baking and sprinkling. What’s more, they even count towards your five a day! Also at 35p (Asda) you really can’t go wrong with these yummy snacks!

All in all, I love the Nakd brand and so glad I have now tried the full range! It has certainly opened my eyes to new flavours and products I can purchase without feeling guilty about afterwards!
